The Serving New Mexico Fund is administered by the Hospitality Industry Education Fund (HIEF).  HIEF is a non-profit, 501(c)3 charitable organization.

Many hospitality workers in NM have multiple jobs and very little savings so when hardship falls upon them they fall behind. In these trying times we want to do as much as we can for displaced restaurant employees in NM. Many restaurant and hospitality workers in New Mexico have been adversely affected in the recent past by the Covid-19 pandemic, wildfires and subsequent flooding.

This fund will allow NM’s dedicated hospitality workers to apply for small grants to help them get by until their emergency is over.
